Vadhuvu on OTT: When and where to watch Avika Gor starrer Telugu horror series

Avika Gor is currently striking a balancing act between the mediums of film and series, in lieu of exhibiting her versatility when it comes to acting. The Balika Vadhu fame actress has already seen through the release of two back to back projects this year. The actress will now be seen in a Telugu web series - Vadhuvu.

Vadhuvu locks its OTT premiere date

Vadhuvu is the official Telugu remake of Bengali series Indu. The series will soon be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. The date for its direct OTT premiere is set at December 8.

Besides Avika in the lead, Vadhuvu also stars Nandu, Ali Reza, Roopa Laxmi, Mounika and Madhavi Prasad among others. Directed by Poluru Krishna, the series has been bankrolled by Shrikanth Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the SVF banner. Sriram Maddury has given the music for the series.

What is next for Avika Gor?

Avika was last seen in 1920: Horrors of the Heart which released earlier this year in June. The Krishna Bhatt film was declared a fiscal success owing to the profit of ₹7 crores it minted. Prior to 1920: Horrors of the Heart, Avika was seen in Telugu film Popcorn. The film is a romantic survival thriller and featured the actress opposite Sai Ronak. What's more, Avika also donned the producer's hat for the film.

She is now gearing up for the premiere of Vadhuvu, the official Telugu language remake of Bengali series Indu. Indu originally featured Ishaa Saha, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Judhajit Sarkar and Manasi Sinha among others. The show traced the dark past and twisted present of an age-old mansion hiding secrets. Avika is currently also filming for a fourth project, Umapati, also in Telugu.
