Actor Jiiva Road Accident: 83 Star And His Wife Suffer Injuries After Car Rams Into Barricade

Actor Jiiva Road Accident: Popular Tamil star Jiiva and his wife met with a road accident while travelling in their vehicle in the Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Visuals from the spot show the couple's car badly damaged. However, reportedly, both Jiiva and his wife escaped with minor injuries.

Local media shared visuals from the spot where Jiiva and his wife met with an accident. It showed the actor surrounded by a crowd of people who seemingly intervened to help the couple. Their blue SUV car was badly damaged after it reportedly rammed into the center median barricade on the national highway near Chinnasalem in Kallakurichi district, Tamil Nadu. Jiiva and his wife escaped with minor injuries.  

In the video, Jiiva 's wife was not visible. He seemed to be speaking simultaneously to someone inside the car and on his mobile phone. It looked like he was having a conversation with his wife who was still seated in the badly damaged vehicle. 

Jiiva confirms he and his wife Supriya are doing well

Reportedly, the accident took place around 3 pm on a highway near Kaniyamoor village. His wife Supriya was with him at the time of the accident. It was the actor who was behind the wheel. According to a report in DT Next, Jiiva's car hit the centre median when he tried to avoid crashing his car on to a two-wheeler that was crossing the road. The couple were transported to Chennai in another vehicle. Jiiva confirmed to the website that there were no major injuries and they are doing fine. On the work front, he will be next seen in Black, with Priya Bhavanishankar.
