Ahead of Trisha Krishnan's The Road OTT release, actor's other 2023 films to watch
Trisha Krishnan has had a stellar year in terms of releases, a streak she appears to be taking forward into the next year with her lineup of films.

The year 2023 has been a big year for Trisha Krishnan in terms of her career. She has held pivotal roles in two of the biggest releases this year, Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan II and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo. Sandwiched between these two mega releases was crime-thriller The Road with the actress in the lead. The film will soon be available for streaming on OTT. Beyond this, the actress also has a stellar lineup of films for 2024.
Trisha Krishnan has had a big year in terms of films
Earlier this year, Trisha Krishnan saw through the release of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan II. The actress reprised her role of Kundavai from the first installment of the film which released last year. More recently, she appeared in the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo in the role of Sathya. The actress is currently working on three projects for the year ahead.

The projects in question will see Trisha share screen space with actors like Mohanlal and Sanjay Dutt. These projects are Vidaa Muyarchi, Ram: Part 1 and Identity. Ram: Part 1 has actor Mohanlal in the lead. Identity on the other hand, will star Trisha along side Tovino Thomas and Sanjay Dutt.

The Road sets a digital release date
The Trisha Krishnan led crime-thriller The Road, will soon be available for streaming on digital. The film will be making its digital release on the streaming platform Aha, largely populated with Tamil and Telugu content. The date for the same is set at November 10. There has been no official intimation about the digital release of the film's Telugu version.

The Road marks the directorial debut of Arun Vaseegaran. Trisha essays the role of Meera with Shabeer Kallarakkal, known as the Dancing Rose, playing the role of Maayazhagan. The film also stars Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy, MS Bhaskar and Laxmi Priya among others.
