Bhavatharini's Voice Brought Back With AI In GOAT 2nd Single Released On Thalapathy Vijay's Birthday

Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Thalapathy Vijay's film Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T), the creators unveiled the promo for their second single on June 21. The track, titled Chinna Chinna Kangal, serves as a tribute to the late singer Bhavatharini and features her AI-generated voice. The full song is set to be released on Vijay's 50th birthday on June 22.

Director Venkat Prabhu shared the promo on his official X handle, expressing his excitement: "A song which is very very close to our hearts will be yours tomorrow!!! Here is a chinna promo of a song with a big heart. Vocal by @actorvijay sir & #Bhavatharini (sic)."

Bhavatharini passed away in January this year after a battle with liver cancer. The film's first track, Whistle Podu, features Vijay alongside Prabhudeva and Prashanth. The song is sung by Vijay with lyrics by Madhan Karky.

The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) includes scenes shot in Russia and features Thalapathy Vijay in dual roles as both hero and villain. The ensemble cast includes Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, with characters aligning with either the hero or the villain.

Produced by AGS Entertainment with a significant budget, the film is backed by producers Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen.

'G.O.A.T' is scheduled to hit theaters on September 5, 2024.
