Jayam Ravi, Kenishaa React To Dating Rumours Amid PS 2 Star's Divorce Controversy With Aarti

Jayam Ravi has been in the news since he announced his divorce from Aarti. In his statement, he had requested to refrain from making any "assumptions, rumours or allegations" in regard to his divorce and let the matter remain private. Despite his request, multiple media reports speculated that the reason behind the separation is singer Kenishaa. Several media reports claimed that the PS2 actor was having an affair with the singer and the duo event went on a vacation in Goa .

Now Jayam Ravi himself has cleared all the speculations and asked not to drag Kenishaa into this.

Jayam Ravi made his first public appearance on Saturday, September 21, after announcing his divorce from his wife. The actor attended the audio launch of Bro and later addressed the media outside Sathyam Theatre in Chennai. He rubbished the rumours of dating Kenishaa and urged that people are saying random things so don't indulge in such acts.

He further added that Kenishaa has sung in 600 stage shows and came up in life with her hard work. She is a healer and licenced psychologist, who has helped people with depression. "Live and let live. Don't drag anyone's name into this. People are saying random things. Don’t indulge in such acts. Let your personal life be personal. Kenishaa is a person who sang in 600 stage shows. She came up in life with her hard work. She is a healer who saved many lives. She is a licenced psychologist. Please don’t involve her in this," he said.

In the same conversation, Jayam revealed his future plans and said he and Kenishaa would start a healing centre together. That’s our goal. We want to help many people. Please don’t spoil it. Nobody can spoil it too. Don’t involve anyone unnecessarily," added.

Singer Kenishaa pens a strong note on rumours of dating Jayam Ravi

Soon after Jayam Ravi's statement went viral on the internet, Kenishaa took to her Instagram Stories and shared a YouTube link of actor's statement. Along with it she wrote, “For all you beautiful people that have been asking me horrible questions without decency and respect - here's an answer. I hope this calms you heart and mind now. Much warmth, Kenishaa”.

Aarti’s shocking note after Jayam Ravi's divorce announcement

Jayam Ravi announced his divorce in a statement on September 9 following which his wife Aarti penned a lengthy note regarding the same. Taking to her social media on September 11, she wrote, “I am deeply shocked and saddened by the recent public announcement regarding our marriage, which was made without my knowledge or consent. After 18 years of shared history, I believe that such a significant matter should be handled with the grace, respect and privacy that it deserves."

Jayam Ravi and Aarti got married in 2009. The estranged couple share two sons Aarav and Aryan. For the unversed, Aarti is the daughter of noted television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar.
