This has come after the makers unveiled the teaser of the film, offering a glimpse of Suriya's warrior look.
Suriya treats fans to a new poster of Kanguva
In the poster, Suriya can be seen in a tribal avatar, holding a burning torche with an in intense look on his face. In the background, we see the people of his clan standing in the form of an arch-like shape. In the caption, he wrote, "Dear all wish you a Happy happy Deepavali #kanguva."

Helmed by Siva, the film also stars Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, marking their debut in the Tamil cinema. Apart from them, the ensemble cast also includes Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra and K. S. Ravikumar, in the pivotal roles.
Inside Suriya and Jyotika's Diwali celebrations
The actress has shared a photo with Suriya, offering a glimpse inside their Diwali look. Jyotika opted for a silk shirt paired with a skirt, while Suriya opted for a traditional ensemble with a modern twist. In the caption, she wrote, "Happy Diwali!!"

Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film while acclaimed cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy is handling the camera and Nishadh Yusuf editing the film. The film is said to be made on a whopping budget, making it one of the most expensive films in India to date.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the couple has a busy schedule. Apart from Kanguva, Suriya also has an untitled Suriya 43. Jyotika is gearing up for the release of her film Kaathal – The Core, co-starring Mammootty.
