Lokesh Kanagaraj is busy working on his next film starring Rajinikanth which is tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. Amid this, the director has announced a break from all social media platforms to focus on his next project, seemingly Thalaivar 171. Not just the social media platforms, the director is also taking a break from his mobile phone.

His post comes just after he issued a clarification saying he is only available on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds regarding Leo director's Facebook account being hacked.

On Saturday, Lokesh took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to share a statement in which he thanked the audience for their love and support for Fight Club. The film is the director's maiden presentation under his banner G Squad. Announcing the social media break, the director added that he will not be reachable during this time.

He started the statement by thanking the audience, "Greetings, firstly, I would like to extend my thanks to all of you for the love and support you have given for Fight Club which was the maiden presentation under my banner G Squad, and I will always be grateful for it."

"I am writing to announce that I will be taking a break from all social media platforms and my mobile to solely focus on my next project. During this time, I will not be reachable. I would like to again thank the audience for all the love and support you have showered upon me since my debut," the director added.

He signed off by writing, "Until then, take care, all of you. Stay positive and ignore Negativity! Much Love, Lokesh Kanagaraj."
