Mansoor Ali Khan's recent comments drawing unparliamentary parallels between the way his villainous roles were portrayed between the yester years and now. Breaching the topic of molestation shown on-screen - something that his characters have amply indulged in, the actor shared his sexist desire to share screen space with Leo co-star Trisha Krishnan in a scene featuring molestation. The comment, for obvious reasons, has attracted massive backlash, not just from the team of Leo but also several known faces from the film industry.

Following a complaint from the National Commission for Women, a case was registered against Mansoor Ali Khan. The actor stands booked under two sections - 354(A) which amounts to sexual harassment and 509 of the Indian Penal Code which amounts to word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman. Earlier today (Thursday, November 23) Khan was pictured arriving at the all-women's police station in Chennai's Thousand Lights Area.

Besides the now-launched case against him, Mansoor Ali Khan also faces a tentative ban from Nadigar Sangam - the South Indian Artistes Association. Khan however, despite the barrage of statements against him, maintains that he has neither said nor done anything wrong. The actor had also threatened the Nadigar Sangam to take back the statement regarding the tentative ban within four hours.
Mansoor Ali Khan remains unapologetic
In an exclusive statement, Mansoor Ali Khan has expressed his willingness to go to jail rather than issue a public apology about his statements. The actor has even draw parallels between the NCW's involvement in the case in comparison to other cases of molestation. He said, "I am not someone who will ask apology. I did nothing wrong. Why should I apologise? I’m born in Tamil Nadu I will not apologise. Like my forefathers.
