Merry Christmas: This is how Katrina Kaif's first meeting with co-star Vijay Sethupathi went
Katrina Kaif opened up about her first meeting with Vijay Sethupathi for the reading session of Merry Christmas with director Sriram Raghavan.

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi came together to launch the first track of their upcoming film Merry Christmas. During the event, the actress opened up about her first meeting with co-star Vijay and said that he looked different from how she had imagined him to be. However, the moment he started conversing with her about the film, the actress was fascinated.
When Katrina Kaif met Vijay Sethupathi for the first time
Speaking at the press conference, Katrina shared that her first meeting was with the director Sriram Raghavan and Vijay Sethupathi. "I had recently seen a picture of Vijay Sir and he had full white hair and a white beard. So when I entered into the office I didn't know what to expect and when I saw him like this I said "Oh wow" that's a really different look," the actress said.
The actress was "extremely excited" to be working with Sriram and Vijay and as soon as they came together they all instantly connected. "The minute Vijay sir started speaking about the scene it was fascinating, I just thought that this is the person who uses things in such a unique way and Sriram Sir has a very unique take on everything he does," she concluded.
About Merry Christmas's first track Nazar Teri Toofan
The clip opens with the soulful voice of Papon introducing Katrina and Vijay. The track then showcases the duo's chemistry and the awkward silences they shared during their date night. However, towards the end of the track, the clip offers a glimpse of the duo's ambiguous love-hate relationship. Nazar Teri Toofan has been written by the National Award-winning lyricist Varun Grover.
Apart from Katrina and Vijay, the film also stars Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar in supporting roles in both Hindi and Tamil versions. The Hindi version also features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand. On the other hand, the Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles. The film is slated to release on January 12.
