Rajinikanth is celebrating his 73rd birthday today December 12. On this day, the makers of his upcoming films have been sharing interesting details and glimpses from the films. While the makers of Thalaivar 170 unveiled the film's title along with an interesting teaser video, the makers of Lal Salaam shared an action-packed video of Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai from the film.

On the evening of December 12, the production house backing Lal Salaam shared a glimpse of Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai. In the video, the actor is shown in a full-action avatar. Irrespective of his age and spirituality, the actor is seen trashing the bad guys right-left center with a chain. This was a little tribute to the actor by the makers on his birthday.

What more do we know about Lal Salaam?

Lal Salaam is a film directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film is not a Rajinikanth-led film, but the actor will be seen in a cameo role. Lal Salaam is a crime cum sports drama, starring Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai in important roles. The music for the film will be composed by AR Rahman. The film will release sometime in 2024.

The title for Thalaivar 170 unveiled on Rajinikanth's birthday

On the superstar's birthday, Lyca Productions, which is also backing Thalaivar 170 shared a major update about the film. The producers unveiled the title of the TJ Gnanavel's film starring Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. 

The film's title is finalised as Vettaiyan. Along with the film's title, the makers also released a teaser video, giving a glimpse into the actor's character.

The film will also mark the runion of actors Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after a gap of 32 years, Hum being their last venture together.
