Amaran starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi has been receiving praises for their stellar performances in the film. The biographical action war drama released in theatres on October 31 is already doing great at the box office. The movie is based on the real-life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a recipient of Ashok Chakra. In midst of this Rajnikanth met with the team of Amaran.
In a post shared by Raaj Kamal International Films on X, four pictures showcases the memorable gathering, which features the veteran actor warmly interacting with the film’s cast and crew. In the pictures, lead actor Sivakarthikeyan, director Rajkumar Periasamy, cinematograpgher CH Sai and producer R Mahendran.
The post read, ”Enjoyed watching his friend Kamal Haasan's 'Amaran' starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The superstar called up his friend Kamal Haasan yesterday and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for making the film. Also, Sivakarthikeyan, the hero of Amaran, Director Rajkumar Periyasamy, Producer R. Mahendran personally met the team of Amaran including cinematographer Sai and expressed his appreciation and congratulations.”
Amaran, which is helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy has set the cash registers ringing at the box office. According to a report in Sacnilk, the film has earned ₹21.25 crore net in India on day 1. While on second day of its release, the film has raked in ₹19.25 crore. The total collection of the film now stands at ₹40.65 crore in India. With addition of Diwali on weekday, the film is expected to cross ₹50 crore in the coming days.
As per early estimates of Amaran, within three days of its release, the film has entered the ₹100 crore club at the worldwide box office and is heading towards becoming a big blockbuster.
