Sivakarthikeyan and his wife Aarthy welcomed their third child, a son on June 2. Now, a month later, the actor has announced the name and shared a video from the naming and cradle ceremony. Sivakarthikeyan has a daughter Aaradhana and a son Gugan.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Siva shared a video offering a glimpse inside the naming ceremony of his newborn son. The video features the Maaveeran actor with his entire family. He took this opportunity to express gratitude and his love for his wife Aarthy. In the caption, he wrote, "Aarthy... I was there by your side in the operation theatre and saw what you went through to deliver our babies. I am forever grateful to you for enduring the pain in creating this beautiful world for me. Love youuuuu. Aaradhana - Gugan - PAVAN," followed by heart emoticons.

In June, he took to his X handle and shared a statement announcing the arrival of a new member into their family. "Dear all, Our hearts are overflowing with joy as we welcome our baby boy born on June 2nd Our family has grown a little bigger and a whole lot happier. We need all your love, support, and blessings, as always -Gugan, Aaradhana, Aarthy & Sivakarthikeyan (sic)," his statement read.

The couple married in 2010 and has been leading a successful married life even before he made his acting debut in the Tamil cinema.
