Sivakarthikeyan shares his new look from SK21, calls himself his own competition | Photos

Sivakarthikeyan is busy shooting for his next film film SK21. On Sunday, December 17, the actor shared his clean-shaven look seemingly from his upcoming film. The film is helmed by Rajkumar Periyasamy.

Taking to Instagram, Sivakarthikeyan shared a series of photos in which he is standing in front of a mirror admiring his no-beard look. Along with the photos, he dropped a powerful caption that read, "Look in the mirror... That's your competition." He used the hashtag "SK21".

Soon after he dropped the post, excited fans flooded the comment section. A user wrote, "Bro is aging backwards." Another wrote, "Crazy transformation bro". Others dropped fire and heart-eye emoticons.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan, the film also stars Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu and Ajaey Naga Raaman, among others. The stunts in the film will be directed by Hollywood stunt master Stefan Rrichter. It is produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani under Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India. The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while the cinematography and editing are handled by CH Sai and R. Kalaivanan, respectively. The film is expected to hit the theatres next year.

Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming sci-fi film Ayalaan. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar. The film is touted to revolve around an alien who accidently lands on Earth. It bonds with a group of humans, but a group of hostile scientists seek to thwart it. The film is slated to release during Pongal, January 12, 2024.  The music in the film is composed by AR Rahman.
