Recent buzz swirling around social media hints at an intriguing development that Thalapathy 68 might be a loose adaptation of the 2019 Hollywood film Gemini Man, headlined by Will Smith in a double role. Reports suggest that Vijay could potentially take on a triple role in this science fiction narrative, although he might not portray a father-son duo as initially speculated.

Contrary to assumptions, Vijay might embody the appearance of a 19-year-old using cutting-edge de-aging technology, mirroring aspects of Will Smith's character from Gemini Man, as per media reports. However, details regarding his character dynamics remain under wraps.

Penned by Venkat Prabhu himself, Thalapathy 68 boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring actor Mike Mohan as the primary antagonist and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Notably, the film also includes an array of esteemed actors in supporting roles.

On Monday evening, actor Kichcha Sudeep took to his X handle to share a photo with filmmaker Venkat Prabhu along with a note where he revealed his association with the Tamil film.
