All But This Actor Barred From Mimicking 'Bhidu' Jackie Shroff After HC Protects Personality Rights

As soon as the word ‘Bhidu’ is mentioned, Jackie Shroff’s name pops up in everyone’s mind. People love to mimic his signature style and videos of artists copying him are viral on social media. But, that’s in the past now. Jackie Shroff has recently initiated legal action to protect his personality and publicity rights.

Why only Krushna Abishek is allowed to mimic Jackie Shroff?

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actor has only allowed Krushna Abhishek to impersonate him. Tiger Shroff called him to praise his performance after he impersonated Jackie Shroff on a show just the day before. Jackie Shroff has himself praised Krushna Abhishek and said that he is only the one who does it correctly. Krushna Abhishek is often seen impersonating Jackie on comedy shows. 

Kashmera Shah, Krushna’s wife supported her husband and took to Instagram to share a post. She wrote in the caption, “To all the disappointed fans that have been messaging us I just want to tell you all that please understand that IMITATION IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF FLATTERY. Krushna loves #jaggu dada @apnabhidu @krushna30.”

Krushna Abhishek is currently a part of a cooking comedy show Laughter Chef along with his wife Kashmera Shah and is judged by Chef Harpal Sing Sokhi and hosted by Bharti Singh.

Apart from the couple, the show features celebrity duos such as Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya, Arjun Bijlani and Karan Kundrra, Jannat Zubair and Reem Shaikh, Nia Sharma and Sudesh Lehri and Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande.

Krushna Abhishek will next be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, where Jackie Shroff plays the antagonist. The film will star Akshay Kumar, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor and Mika Singh in key roles.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, the comedy film is scheduled to release on Christmas 2024. With star-studded cast, Welcome To The Jungle is touted to be one of the biggest comedy films of 2024.
