Shehzada Dhami’s racist comment irks Chum Darang

In Monday's episode, actor Shehzada Dhami made offensive comments about actress Chum Darang, poking fun at her Arunachal Pradesh heritage. She however countered back to him.

Not just chum, even netizens were irked by the TV actor's racist remark and flooded the comment section, slamming Shehzada. A user wrote, “How ignorant someone can be! He should be called out on the weekend.” Another user wrote, “At first I thought the chutney was made by Chum. So, I didn’t find Shehzada wrong. But later I saw tweets rewatched the clip Shehzad was straightaway being racist”. “Considering how a lot of people treat North East Indians, I'm pretty sure that Chum might have been in similar situations before.. So I totally get that reaction! She did a good job at stopping the remark”, wrote the third user.
