Devoleena Bhattacharjee celebrates 1st wedding anniversary with husband Shanwaz Shaikh

Devoleena Bhattacharjee took to her Instagram and shared glimpses from her first anniversary celebrations along with her husband Shanwaz Shaikh. Both of them tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Lonavala. Shanwaz was her trainer and they had been dating for a while before they decided to get married.

Now, in what comes as a wholesome display, Devoleena took to the social media platform and shared several photos. She can be seen decked in a yellow palazzo saree. Her husband Shanwaz was dressed in a shirt and matching pants. It was not just the two of them in these photos. Devoleena's mother was seen happily posing with her son-in-law and daughter. “Celebrating 1 year of our togertherness,” the caption read.

Devoleena's conflict with her brother 

According to reports, Andeep, Devoleena's brother, was initially against their marriage. However, eventually, he started to respect his sister’s decisions. In these anniversary celebration photos, he cannot be seen anywhere. In a recent interview, Devoleena spoke about how her siblings know how to handle each other’s anger. She further said that she understands how to maintain a healthy relationship.

Earlier, Devoleena shared glimpses of her Dhanteras celebrations on Instagram. In the photos, she was seen adoring lanterns and other diwali decor items while roaming around the market. She even posed for shutterbugs in between her shopping shenanigans.
