Divya Agarwal confirms wedding to fiancee Apurva Padgaonkar in February 2024

Divya Agarwal, who got engaged to businessman Apurva Padgaonkar on her 30th birthday last year, opened up about her wedding plans. The actress also revealed her wedding date and revealed the details regarding the theme.

Divya Agarwal opens up about her wedding plans

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, the actress shared that she is going to get married to Apurva in February, but didn't reveal the date. When asked about her wedding preparations as just around three months are left, to this, the actress said that she hasn't planned anything but wants to keep it simple yet beautiful.

The actress added that when she was a kid, she used to think of a lavish wedding but now she has grown and can get married in her pyjamas and her living room.

Earlier, as a little girl, I had dreams like I wanted a Cinderella wedding, a big fat Indian wedding. I want to wear this and I want to wear that. But now, as the time has actually come in my life, I have suddenly just started looking at it as such a simple yet beautiful time that only the wedding matters to me now. Mein abhi bhi bas pyjama mein bhi unke saath sat-phere le lungi. I will have zero problems. Also, I will not do any makeup and I am not ok with it. I will do the wedding in my living room, in my hall, chalega mujhe (I’m okay with it). And I have no such demands or no such expectations from a wedding like that," said the actress.

Divya Agarwal to have a forest-themed wedding?

The actress in the same interview said that she only wishes to get married in the presence of her family and god. The couple hasn't planned but they will have a "very nice sath phere". She also added that she wants a forest-themed wedding and doesn't want any sort of wastage.

"Abhi tak kuch plan nahi hua hai. Sab bhagwan bharose choda hai. (There’s nothing planned. I have left everything to God). Itna pata hai that I want a forest-theme wedding. I don’t want any sort of wastage and décor and extravaganza something. I want a very simple wedding,” the actress concluded.
