Hina Khan Shares '1st Sign Of Progress' In Breast Cancer Treatment

Hina Khan, who is battling Stage 3 Breast Cancer, is documenting her journey on her social media. The actress on Saturday shared a set of five photos flaunting the scars that she got during the treatment. Along with the photos, she penned a note about proudly embracing the scars.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Hina Khan shared her selfies in which we can see a scar around her collarbone and underarm. The actress, who recently chopped off her hair, is happily posing for the camera. The actress shared that she embraces her scars with love as they are the first sign of the progress she deserves. "What do you see in this Picture? The Scars on my body or the Hope in my Eyes? The scars are mine, I embrace them with love because they’re the first sign of the Progress I deserve," she wrote.

She further shared that the hope in her eyes is the "reflection" of her soul and she can "almost see the light at the end of the tunnel". She concluded her note by writing, " I am manifesting my healing. And I am praying for yours too. #SacrredNotScared #DaddysStrongGirl."

Soon after she dropped the post, her industry friends flooded the comment section.  Masaba Gupta commented, "Take care of yourself Hina". Dalljiet Kaur wrote, "You will heal my love we all are praying for you." Shardul Pandit wrote, "I see strength:)". Arjun Bijlani, Arti Singh, Aparshakti Khurana and others dropped heart emoticons.

Hina Khan shares emotional video chopping off her hair

As a part of her cancer treatment, Hina Khan would have to undertake chemotherapy, in which one naturally loses their hair. Before the treatment began, the actress most popularly known for her shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagi Kayy, chopped off her tresses. She recorded a video of herself doing the same and penned an emotional note alongside it.

An excerpt from the post read, "To all the beautiful people out there, especially women who are fighting the same battle, I know it’s hard, I know for most of us, our hair is the crown we never take off. But what if you’re facing a battle so tough that you have to lose your hair—your pride, your crown? If you want to win you’ve got to take some tough decisions."
