Madhubala Actress Drashti Dhami Announces First Pregnancy After 9 Years Of Marriage - Watch

Television actress Drashti Dhami announced her first pregnancy with husband Neeraj Khemka on June 14 with a sweet video on Instagram. The couple is going to be blessed with a child after nine years of marriage. Drashti, known for her roles in popular daily soaps like Dill Mill Gayye, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, Madhubala and others, also shared that her due date is in October. The couple referred to their to-be-born baby as a ”tiny rebel”.

In the pregnancy announcement video, Drashti and Neeraj sported white and black striped T-shirts. They held a banner which read, ”Could be pink, could be blue, all we know is that we are due. October 2024." The caption to their post read, “In a galaxy not so far away, a tiny rebel is joining our crazy tribe. Please send love, blessings, cash & french fries our way #BabyKOnBoard. We can’t wait for October 2024 (sic).”

Members from their respective families also featured in the fun-filled video. Telly actresses Hina Khan, Ankita Bhargava Patel and Anita Hassanandani congratulated the couple in the comments section. 

When Drashti and Neeraj celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary 

Drashti and businessman Neeraj married on February 21, 2015. Earlier this year, the couple celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary. On the occasion, the actress shared a love-filled picture on Instagram and wrote, “SORRY !!! No returns and no refunds !!! Happy anniversary baby ! @khemkaniraj Happy 9 to us (sic).”

Drashti is known for shows like Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani and Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. She has also been a part of several successful web series including Duranga and The Empire.
