Dolly Sohi, who is known for her role in Parineetii, was diagnosed with cancer. The actress, on Friday, took to her social media handle, to share her journey as a cancer fighter and thanked her well-wishers for sending love and prayers. The actress also shared a photo of herself sporting a bald look.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress revealed that lately her life has been a roller coaster, but she has decided to be a fighter and not a victim. She said, "THANK U EVERYONE FOR SENDING YOUR LOVE AND PRAYERS. Life has been a Roller Coaster lately. But if u have the strength to fight with it then ur journey becomes easier. It’s up to u what do u choose to be. A Victim Of Journey (CANCER) Or A Survivor Of Journey."
Soon after she dropped the post, her industry friends flooded the comment section with encouraging messages. Director Dutt Dev wrote, "OMG .. u r a strong Women.. be positive.. u"ll recover soon.. God bless u.." Nilu Kohli wrote, "What? when was this Dolly? It's all about fighting back with determination. YOU WILL BEAT IT" Kushwant Walia commented, "More power to you ma’am".
Who is Dolly Sohi?
The actress made her debut in the television industry with the show Kalash (2000) produced by Ekta Kapoor. Since then she has been part of shows such as Kkusum (2002), Bhabhi (2003), Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev (2013) and Kumkum Bhagya (2021), among others. She is currently being seen in two shows - Jhanak and Parineetii. In Parineetii, she is seen in the role of Gurpreet Jaswant Kakkar.
