Shweta Tiwari Reacts To Daughter Palak And Ibrahim Ali Khan's Dating Rumours, Calls It 'Brutal'

Palak Tiwari, daughter of TV actress Shweta Tiwari, made her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Since then, she has been the centre of attention whenever she is snapped at the airport or steps out with her friends in Mumbai. However more than her professional, she is in the news for her personal life. In 2022, a video went viral when she was snapped with Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim and hid her face from the paparazzi. This created a heavy storm on the Internet, with netizens speculating that the duo is dating. Since then, the two have been often snapped together enjoying lunch and dinner outings.

In a recent interview, Shweta Tiwari finally addressed the rumours about her daughter's dating status. She said that Palak is "strong right now" but she is scared of tomorrow when some comment on an article will hit her confidence.

In an interview with Galatta, the actress said, "Palak is strong right now, but tomorrow, some comment or article might just hit her confidence. She is still a kid. At times things are so brutal, like she has an affair with every second boy!" Shweta added that even she doesn't know for how long her daughter will tolerate all this.

Apart from her dating life, Palak often receives criticism owing to her slim figure. Reacting to this, Shweta said that it doesn't bother Palak. Initially, her daughter used to feel bad about it but eventually realised that many aspire to look like her. "She knows that she has achieved this with a lot of hard work," Shweta concluded.

Earlier in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Bijlee Bijlee fame addressed the dating rumours and clarified that she and Ibrahim are just "nice friends". She added that they were not alone but rather with a group of people. "It wasn’t just us. but it got papped like that. It was the narrative that people liked the most, but that’s it. We are nice friends. He is a very sweet guy. That’s all there is to it. We talk sometimes and that’s all,” she concluded.
