Sidharth Shukla accused of touching former co-star inappropriately

Controversies and Bigg Boss go hand-in-hand. There has not been even one season of the hit show without any controversy. And the trend has continued with the thirteenth season of the Salman Khan-hosted show currently underway. Be it the arguments and fights, heated physicality during tasks, Salman Khan’s taking a ‘class’ of the contestants or their respective strategies to gain an edge over the others, the show keeps making the news for the wrong reasons. In the current season, Sidharth Shukla has been one of the most controversial names. While the actor’s heated reactions and anger management issues have been making headlines, he is also being accused of touching some of his co-contestants inappropriately. Not just that, his co-star from his claim to fame Balika Vadhu has also accused Siddharth of touching her inappropriately during the shoots.

Housemates accuse

Rashami Gautam was the first to state that Sidharth Shukla touched her inappropriately when they were arguing in the kitchen over tea and he charged towards her. He had, however, then hit back by saying that Rashami was using the 'women card' and that she was ‘defaming’ him. Later, during one of the other tasks, he was accused of pushing Mahira Sharma and several fans had then felt he had touched her inappropriately. During the same task, Devoleena Bhattacharjee warned him that she’d straight away put the #MeToo accusations on him.

Past incidents surface too

While this is about the show, even a female co-star from his earlier show has accused him of touching her inappropriately. In a recent interview with a media publication, Sheetal Khandal, who played Gehna on the show, revealed that Sidharth used to make lewd remarks at her, that involved body-shaming and things she can't mention. She also shared that her former co-star touched her feet in an inappropriate way during the shooting for one of the scenes. Sheetal shared that he’d always touch her on the shoulders, though they didn’t share that kind of a rapport. The actor even complained to the creative producers, after which she said Siddharth created a ruckus on the sets.  Sheetal accused Siddharth of being a hypocrite since he recently stood up for Arti Singh, when Arti and Siddharth Dey got into a fight, that involved some heated and derogatory words and alleged inappropriate touching from Siddharth Dey.
