Amid controversies, TMKOC cast celebrates 15 years of togetherness
Sachin Shroff aka Taarak Mehta took to his Instagram handle to drop a few photos with his co-stars as they celebrated the 15th year anniversary of the sitcom. The star cast was seen posing in front of a giant banner decked with flowers that read '15 Years.' , the makers decided to celebrate 15 years of togetherness despite the never-ending controversies surrounding the show

For the unversed, the controversies began when Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played the role of Roshan Daruwala Kaur Sodhi in the show, talked about producer Asit Kumar Modi harassing her. She alleged that he sexually harassed her and tortured her mentally, forcing her to leave the show. She also claimed that she chose to ignore these things but decided to quit when things became unbearable.
Actors who accused Asit Modi of his offensive behaviour
Not just Jennifer Mistry, other actors from the show too have made serious allegations against Asit Modi. Monika Bhadoriya aka Bawri from the show told Pinkvilla that he mentally harassed her. Eve Shailesh Lodha, who earlier played Taarak Mehta, claimed that Asit had not cleared his dues.
