Urvashi Dholakia, best known for her roles in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kahiin To Hoga, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Naagin among others is currently admitted to the hospital. Her son Kshitij Dholakia took to social media and informed fans about his mother's hospitalisation. However, the reason behind the sudden hospitalisation was unknown. Recently, the actress revealed the reason and shared her health update.

Urvashi Dholakia shares she underwent surgery

Urvashi Dholakia shared that she underwent surgery for a tumour in the neck. She shared that her surgery was successful, and she has been advised to rest for a few days. In a statement, the 45-year-old actress said: "I had to undergo surgery as a tumour (cyst) was diagnosed in the neck in early December 2023. My surgery is successful and now I have been advised to rest for 15 to 20 days."

Urvashi Dholakia is currently recouping in a hospital

Urvashi Dholakia's son Kshitij Dholakia took to his Instagram handle to share a story featuring his mother. In the short video, Urvashi can be seen seated on a hospital bed, visibly unwell. Additional information from Kshitij's stories revealed that Urvashi is currently admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital.

Before the actress revealed the reason for her hospitalisation, her fans assumed that her dance injury landed her in the hospital. For the unversed, Urvashi had been nursing two hairline fractures on either side of her right foot's big toe. She sustained the injury while rehearsing for her dance pieces she was to perform in lieu of her participation in a leading reality television show. A while back, the actress had shared graphic pictures of her swollen big toe as proof of her injury in response to being trolled for lying about the same.
