Was Suicide On Gurucharan Singh's Mind? TMKOC Actor Opens Up About His ' Disappearance'

Gurucharan Singh worried his fans recently about his abrupt disappearance from his residence. The actor went missing from his residence on April 22 only to return home a few days later on May 17. Days after resurfacing the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor has opened up about what went in his mind while away from home. 
 

'Kuch bhi ho jaye suicide nahi karna hain', says Gurucharan Singh 

Gurucharan Singh returned home on May 17 and since then has been talking about his disappearance. The actor went missing sending his fans and well-wishers in shock. In an interview, he spoke about feeling low during the COVID period and if the thought of committing suicide ever crossed his mind. For the unversed, some reports claimed that the actor was under a financial crunch and had taken several bank loans in his names. 

Speaking to Pinkvilla, the actor shared, "Mere zehen mein ye pakka khayal aaya ki kuch bhi ho jaye suicide nahi karna hain. (This thought came into my mind that no matter what happens, suicide is not an option)." He added, "Matlab kya hota hain agar aap gusse mein kabhi kuch cheezein kisise jhagad rahe ho toh bol sakte ho, but otherwise suicide ka mere dil mein kabhi hain hi nahi. (What happens is if you are angry and during an argument, you may say something, but otherwise the thought of suicide never crossed my mind)." 

All about Gurucharan Singh's disappearance 

The actor went missing on April 22 this year and returned home after 24 days. He left his home at 8:30 AM on April 22 for the airport to go to Mumbai, but he didn't arrive and his phone was also unreachable and untraceable. After the actor failed to return home as planned, Gurucharan's family swiftly registered a missing person complaint. Following the complaint, the police registered a case under Section 365 of the IPC. According to the police, CCTV footage has come to light where Singh was seen walking by himself, carrying a backpack.

On May 17, he returned to his Delhi home and when Delhi Police interrogated him about his whereabouts, the actor revealed that he had left home to be on a religious journey. However, he later realised that he should return home.
