AR Rahman's birthday: Ram Charan welcomes music composer to his next film RC16
AR Rahman is celebrating his 57th birthday and on this occasion, Ram Charan announced that the music composer has been roped in to score the music of RC16.

AR Rahman is celebrating his 57th birthday and on this occasion, Ram Charan welcomed the Oscar-winner music composer to the team of RC16. The actor took to his social media handle to wish the composer and announce the news officially. The upcoming film is being helmed by National Award-winning director Buchi Babu Sana.
AR Rahman has been roped in RC16
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ram Charan shared a new poster of his next project RC16 and captioned it as "Happy Birthday @arrahman sir, wish you health and happiness always.” The poster features a guitar and a sketch of AR Rahman. The text on it reads, "Welcoming the legendary AR Rahman. Happy Birthday Isai Puyal".

With RC16, Rahman marks his return to the Telugu music industry after the 2010 film Komaram Puli.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the reports have been doing the rounds that Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in the film as the second lead. The director is ready with the script and Ram Charan is expected to start the filming in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of his film Game Changer helmed by by Shankar. The film also stars Kiara Advani in the lead and Anjali, S. J. Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, and Nassar in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Thaman S. It is scheduled for a worldwide release in September 2024.
What's next for AR Rahman
Rahman will have a busy year and his compositions will be seen in films such as Lal Salaam, Aadujeevitham, Imtiaz Ali's Chamkila, D50, Tere Ishk Mein, Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life and Kadhalikka Neramillai, all in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
