Bhagavanth Kesari director Anil Ravipudi to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi over Ravi Teja?

Anil Ravipudi is currently basking in the success of his last release Bhagavanth Kesari. The Nandamuri Balakrishna and Sreeleela starrer managed to rake in ₹114.5 crores in its worldwide collections, as per a Sacnilk report. The director however, is already on to his next venture, which may just be with megastar Chiranjeevi.

Anil Ravipudi to direct Chiranjeevi?

For a while, reports have been doing the rounds on the internet, suggesting a possible film carrying collaboration between Bhagavanth Kesari director Anil Ravipudi and Mass Raja Ravi Teja. This alleged project, however, appears to now have been put on the backburner. The rumour mills are now abuzz with the news of a possible collaboration between Anil Ravipudi and Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Irrespective of whether the film materialises with Chiranjeevi, or Ravi Teja, Dil Raju has been locked in as the producer for Anil Ravipudi's next project. Reports however suggest, that the director is rather keen to directed Chiranjeevi who is also keen to work with him post seeing how he has directed Nandamuri Balakrishna in Bhagavanth Kesari.

What is next for Chiranjeevi?

2023 was a packed year for Chiranjeevi as the veteran actor saw through the release of two big banner projects. First up, was action thriller Waltair Veerayya which released in theatres early January. Directed by KS Ravindra, Chiranjeevi played the titular role in this film which was a massive box office success, minting ₹190 cores in India with worldwide collections being as high as ₹219 crores, as per a Sacnilk report.

Chiranjeevi's next release for the year, Bhola Shankar, was a major miss at the box office. The action thriller, which also starred Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh, did not even manage to cross the ₹50 crore mark in worldwide collections managing to rake in a mere ₹42.25 crores. The actor currently has two more projects in the pipeline, tentatively titled Mega 156 and Mega 157.
