Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Bhagavanth Kesari, which released on October 19 registered a decent opening at ₹16 crore. The numbers were expected to grow considering it’s an extended weekend due to the Durga Puja and Dussehra festivities, but the film failed to register any significant growth on Monday.
Apart from Balakrishna Nandamuri, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. It marks the Telugu debut of Arjun Rampal.

On Sunday, the film witnessed a rise in collection - ₹9.30 crore. However, on Monday, there was a decline and the film managed to garner only ₹7.65 crore, taking the total collection to 48.35 crore. On the second day of the release Bhagavanth Kesari earned ₹7 crore, while on Saturday and Sunday, the film minted ₹7.8 crore and ₹9.3 crore, respectively.

Helmed by Anil Ravipudi, Bhagavanth Kesari clashed with Ravi Teja's film Tiger Nageswara Rao at the box office on October 20. While on one hand, Bhagavanth Kesari's numbers have been somewhat steady, Tiger Nageswara Rao, helmed by Vamsee, has been struggling at the box office. The film which witnessed a slow start at ₹6.55 crore, earned ₹4.06 crore on Monday. The four-day total collection of Tiger Nageswara Rao currently stands at ₹19.34 crore in India.

The film which released in four regional languages - Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, marked the debut of Kriti Sanon's sister Nupur Sanon in the Telugu film industry.
