Can Jr NTR break the SS Rajamouli curse?

An eerie coincidence follows the fate of Tollywood movies. It is said, and observed, that actors who collaborate with the veteran director SS Rajamouli and deliver blockbuster hits with him are doomed to fail in their next project. Jr NTR himself has been a victim of this ‘curse' thrice in the past.

The actor who delivered a blockbuster with the Rajamouli film Student No 1 (2001), scored a massive flop with his next Subbu (2001). He tasted the same failure again when his film Andhrawala (2004) followed the massively successful Rajamouli's Simhadri (2003). Jr NTR could not escape the so-called curse even the third time around. After the success of Yamadonga (2007), the actor went on to feature in Kantri (2008) which underperformed at the ticketing counter.

However, seeing the collection of Devara Part 1 it seems, that Jr NTR will be able to break the curse and how.
