Devara Hindi Box Office Collection Day 2: Jr NTR Starrer Registers A Jump, Earns Rs 16.5 Crore

Devara Hindi Box Office: Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara Part 1 has picked up pace at the box office for its Hindi version. While the film was off to a good start, collecting Rs 7.5 crore on day 1 in North markets, the business witnessed a slight jump on Saturday. Given the success of Jr NTR's last release RRR in Hindi, Devara team will be hopeful to make the most of it.

Devara Hindi collections witness a jump  

On Saturday, Devara collected Rs 9 crore in Hindi, according to Sacnilk, taking its 2-day total to Rs 16.5 crore. It will look to continue the momentum and wrap up the first weekend at Rs 25 crore, adding to its worldwide gross of Rs 200 crore plus.

Interestingly, while the collection of the film's Telugu version witnessed a massive dip on day 2, its Hindi business saw an upward trend.

Devara worldwide collections

Devara, on its second day, minted Rs 29.34 crore in Telugu, which was way lesser that Rs 70 crore plus opening its registered in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. Overseas, the business of Devara is promising and stands at Rs 44 crore. Worldwide, the film has collected Rs 122.5 crore nett so far.

Surprisingly, the occupancy declined and the collections dropped by over 50 percent on Saturday, proving to be a dent in its box office. Set in the coastal regions, Devara Part 1 sees Jr NTR play a double role-- that of the father and the son. Janhvi plays his love interest in the pan-India feature film, directed by Koratala Siva, while Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Bhaira, the antagonist. Part 2 of the film will also follow in the coming years and has been teased at the end of the first installment.
