Eagle teaser: Ravi Teja's new film is all about action and drama | Watch

Ravi Teja's upcoming film Eagle is all set to hit theatres on January 13 next year. The film is directed by Karthik Gattamaneni. Recently, the makers unveiled the film's teaser.

Ravi Teja's film promises an interesting premise

The teaser of Eagle opens with a powerful voiceover of Ravi Teja, giving a stern warning. “Kondalo Lavani Kindaki Pilavaku… Ooru Undadu…Nee Uniki Undadu…” The visuals show the destruction caused by the protagonist who is a myth to the public and a story hidden by governments. Ravi Teja's character is introduced and various avatars of him are shown.

The Mass Maharaja offered a mass massacre with his multiple get-ups, shades, and intense screen presence. The conversation between Anupama Parameswaran and Srinivas Avasarala, and Navdeep’s words give more elevation to Ravi Teja’s character. Vinay Rai is fearful as the deadly villain. Kavya Thapar is the other heroine, wherein Madhubala will be seen in a crucial role.

What do we know about Eagle?

Karthik Ghattamaneni is handling the cinematography, while Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer. The premise looks promising, and so is the narrative. The camera blocks are captured by Karthik, alongside, Kamil Plocki, and Karm Chawla. The thumping score by Davzand took the visuals to another level. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad with Vivek Kuchibhotla as the co-producer.

Telugu star Ravi Teja, the Mass Maharaja in the Tollywood pecking order, scored the biggest solo hit of his career with 'Dhamaka', a People Media Factory production.

The star now collaborates again with the production house, which is now in the news for having picked up the 'Adipurush' rights in the two Telugu states for Rs 170 crore, for a more ambitious project helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni.

The teaser shows Ravi Teja standing near a lake, his face partially visible, and then the title is revealed as 'Eagle'.

The title is a striking one and its first glimpse establishes the world of the protagonist. It also reveals that the other prominent cast members are Anupama Parameshwaran, Navdeep, Madhubala and Kavya Thapar. Outstanding visuals are accompanied by a voluptuous musical score.

Written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni, who also doubles as the DOP and editor, the big-budget entertainer is being co-produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla. The dialogues are by Manibabu Karanam; Davzand is the music director.
