Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde: First single from Nagarjuna Akkineni starrer Naa Saami Ranga is out

Naa Saami Ranga appears to be right on track when it comes to its release. The makers have released the first single from the film's album.

Nagarjuna Akkineni was last seen in big banner Bollywood film, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva in the role of Anish Shetty, back in 2022. The same year he was also seen in Telugu films Bangarraju and The Ghost. 2023 however, the actor has been busy at work over the films in his pipeline - namely, Tamil film D 51 and Telugu film Naa Saami Ranga. The latter of the two appears to be right on track, with its first single now out.

First single from Naa Saami Ranga now out

The makers of Naa Saami Ranga, recently released the first single from the film. The song, titled Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde, appears to be being received well by the audience. The song features leads Nagarjuna Akkineni with Ashika Ranganath. The music video for the single is set up against the backdrop of a village and shows the former romancing the latter.

An interesting fact about Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde is that it was created by part of the Naatu Naatu team which brought home an Oscar earlier this year from the category of Best Original Song. MM Keeravaani has composed the music for the song with lyrics for the same being penned by Chandrabose - both of whom lifted the Oscar for Naatu Naatu. Additionally, Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde has been sung by Ram Miriyala.

Nagarjuna Akkineni has grand plans for his 100th film

Even as the veteran actor continues to work on his existing projects, Nagarjuna Akkineni has extensive plans for his 100th film - something he definitively wants to turn into a visual spectacle. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Akkineni revealed how four filmmakers are involved in writing the script for the film.

He also shared how a 'visual spectacle' does not necessarily mean a film heavy on VFX - what the actor is instead trying to create, is a "larger than life experience" which will draw audiences to the theatres.
