The Ram Charan and Kiara Advani led Game Changer has been long in the making. The S Shankar directorial has dealt with a few setbacks this year including a song leak. However, as per latest reports, the film happens to be back on track, gearing up for its filming schedule.

Game Changer to start filming again soon?

Recently, there were reports of an extensive September schedule for Game Changer being cancelled. An update from Sri Venkateswara Creations shared that the reason behind the schedule being scrapped was the unavailability of a few artists. As per recent reports, a shooting schedule for the film has been planned, ready to commence come end November.

Game Changer's next schedule will reportedly begin filming on November 23. It will be held in Mysore. What's more, the schedule will have Ram Charan and other key cast members allot dates for the same.

Has S Shankar prioritised Indian 2 over Game Changer?

Director S Shankar currently has two big banner projects on his plate - Game Changer and Indian 2. Indian 2, the sequel to S Shankar's 1996 film Indian, will see Kamal Haasan reprise his role of Senapathy. Being a political thriller, the film is eyeing an August release next year, coinciding with Independence Day. For the same, shooting has reportedly been fast-tracked on Indian 2, with it becoming a priority for S Shankar.

As per reports, this has naturally put Ram Charan's Game Changer on the backburner for the forseeable future - so much so that Game Changer is now eyeing a release in the last quarter of 2024 or potentially 2025. However, with news of a filming schedule in place for Game Changer, the film appears to be back on S Shankar's priority list.
