Ramajogayya Sastry hits back at troll
On Thursday evening, the lyricists took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and slammed the trolls for criticising his song. He wrote, "Social media is going to dogs. People who don’t know a thing about process think they can comment and judge…with all the intentions of spreading hate…targeting technicians…NO…NOT at all good. (sic)”
He concluded by writing, "Everyone feels entitled to talk and throw stones. There’s a manner in which feedback must be given. What was missing in the song? We love our work more than you do, don’t talk loosely."
However, later he deactivated his X account probably due to the heightened negativity on the platform.

More about Guntur Kaaram
Last month, the makers unveiled the first track titled Dum Masala. Sung by Sanjith Hegde and Thaman S with the additional vocals of Jyoti Nooran and rapping of Hemachandra, the track is just a joy to listen to, as each compliments the other’s vocal contrast very well thus giving both a hard bunch and a gentle soothing sound. The video features some sequences of the film where Mahesh is a total chad and someone you ought not to mess with. Then there are certain behind-the-scenes moments which show him and the crew members laughing at times while later shooting for certain scenes.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram stars Mahesh, Jagapathi Babu, Sreelala, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Ramyakrishnan, Sunil and Brahmanadam. It will hit theatres on January 12, 2024.
