Venkatesh will be marking his seventy fifth project with the Sailesh Kolanu film Saindhav which is gearing up for a mid January release. Ahead of the same, the makers of the film held a special event - titled Venky 75 - celebrating Venkatesh's expansive career. However, Chiranjeevi and Nani were the only big names present at the event with the others giving it a miss.

Why Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Balayya chose to skip Venky 75

Venky 75 saw the megastar Chiranjeevi grace the event as the chief guest. Also marking their presence at the celebration were Nani, Vishwak Sen, Ruhani Sharma and Andrea Jeremaiah. However, while the announcement for the event had promised audiences Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Balayya arriving to felicitate Venkatesh, all three stars were conspicuously absent.

It has now been revealed however, that the three were absent due to their professional commitments. Balayya is currently in Rajasthan filming for Bobby's next. Nagarjuna is on the last leg of filming for Naa Saami Ranga which will officially wrap up filming on December 29. Finally, Mahesh Babu is also completing work on Guntur Kaaram, set to release on January 12 and was hence unable to attend the event.

Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi to work together soon?

Though the aforementioned big names were forced to skip the event due to professional obligations, Chiranjeevi attended the event as the chief guest. The megastar also expressed his desire to work with Venkatesh soon. He said, "I want to do a film with my brother Venky." To this, Venkatesh replied in the affirmative asserting how when he were to star along side Chiranjeevi in a film, it would be a sure shot hit.
