Darshana Banik, best known for her role in the Telugu movie Black (2022) tied the knot with Bengali actor Saurav Das on December 15. The couple exchanged wedding vows in a traditional Bengali wedding. They recently took to social media and shared photos from their special day.

In the first picture, Saurav Das and Darshana Banik can be seen sharing a tender moment as they hold each other's hands. The next photo captures the couple in a candid moment. For her special day, the actress turned a Bengali bride. Draped in a red Banarasi saree adorned with intricate golden silk threadwork, she looked pretty. The ensemble was paired with a matching blouse and a sheer red dupatta embellished with tiny crystal stones. She accessorised her look with layered gold necklaces, earrings, a maang teeka, a nath, a kamarbandh, and bangles. She completed her look with a sheen makeup, featuring a dewy base, smokey eyes, nude lipstick, blushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones, a bun, and a mukut.

Saurav complemented his bride's traditional attire with a white kurta featuring intricate white thread embroidery. He paired it with a dhoti and a red-hued shawl adorned with multi-coloured stripes and golden prints. The actor completed his look with a gold chain, a ring, and a bracelet.

Hours before the wedding, the couple indulged in the vibrant festivities of the haldi ceremony. Darshana shared glimpses of the joyous occasion on her Instagram stories. For the haldi ceremony, Darshana opted for a yellow Banarasi saree with golden silk threadwork, paired with minimalistic gold jewellery and dewy makeup. Saurav, on the other hand, opted for a white kurta pyjama set.
