Kalki 2898 AD Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 5: Prabhas Starrer Is Unstoppable At ₹600 Crore
The sci-fi thriller Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, has become the first movie to achieve consecutive five days of $1 million gross in North America.
Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, is unstoppable at the global box office. Nag Ashwin's directorial opened at Rs 191.5 crore at the box office worldwide and went on to beat Jawan in the opening weekend by minting ₹555 crore in the opening weekend. However, it will be interesting to see if the movie passes the Monday test or not.

The sci-fi thriller minted approximately ₹50 crore gross worldwide. Adding the fifth-day collection, the total now stands at ₹605 crore, becoming the fourth-highest Telugu movie to achieve this milestone. Prabhas reportedly enjoys a huge fan following in the USA, owing to which Kalki 2898 AD is also receiving all the praise from the audience. It has become the first movie to achieve consecutive five days of $1 million gross in North America.

The movie is unstoppable in the Indian market and is busy racking the numbers. However, on Monday, the movie witnessed a 60.77 per cent downfall in numbers. The movie could only manage to earn ₹34.6 crore at the domestic box office with a maximum in the Hindi version - ₹16.5 crore. In the Telugu version, the movie earned ₹14.5 crore, Tamil - Rs 2 crore, Kannada - ₹0.3 crore and Malayalam ₹1.3 crore, according to early estimates reported by Sacnilk.
Adding the fifth-day collection, the total now stands at ₹343.6 crore in India. Kalki 2898 AD had an overall 47.18 per cent Telugu occupancy in the 2D version and 43.74 per cent in 3D on Monday.
The movie released on June 27 in six languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and English.
