Naa Saami Ranga teaser out: Nagarjuna plays a robust, fearless ruffian in upcoming Telugu actioner

The makers of upcoming Telugu film Naa Saami Ranga released their official teaser earlier today. The Nagarjuna starrer is directed by filmmaker Vijay Binni.

Naa Saami Ranga promises both action and humour

The teaser effectively builds up both the hero figure (played by Nagarjuna), as well as captures the universe around him in a brief manner. While the teaser doesn’t give too much of the plot away, there is a angle alluded in the teaser about the protagonist’s love life in the past - even though it seems that the protagonist’s lover is not romantically linked to him anymore, it’s through her questions and conversation with other characters that we see the protagonist’s part being revealed in bits and pieces throughout the trailer. With its share of gory, violent sequences, Naa Saami Ranga promises to be a well-rounded entertainer in totality.

2 days ago, the Naa Saami Ranga makers had released a character intro for Anji, one of the supporting characters in the film. Earlier, there was a brief intro video for Varlakshmi’s character as well (played by Ashika Ranganath).

Naa Saami Ranga marks directorial debut of choreographer Vijay Binni

Besides Nagarjuna and Ashika Ranganath, the film stars Allari Naresh, Ravi Varma, Raj Tarun and Mirnaa in pivotal roles.  Academy Award winner M M Keeravani has composed the music for the film. A few days, the song video for film’s romantic single was released online.

Naa Saami Ranga is directed by veteran choreographer Vijay Binni who is making his directorial debut with this film. Srinivasa Chitturi has produced the film. Meanwhile, scriptwriter Prasanna Kumar Bezawada has penned both the story and screenplay for the film. Slated to release on January 12 on the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi, Naa Saami Ranga is expected to take the Telugu box office by storm.
