Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBK 109 cast to be joined by Bobby Deol, Gautham Menon?

Nandamuri Balakrishna has had a successful year at the cinemas having seen through the release of two back to back hits. Both Gopichand Malineni's Veera Simha Reddy and Anil Ravipudi's Bahagavanth Kesari were declared box office hits. The actor is now in the midst of filming his next - tentatively titled NBK 109, the cast of which has reportedly been joined by two well-known names.

NBK 109 expands its cast?

Nandamuri Balakrishna's next has been tentatively titled NBK 109. The film is being helmed by Bobby and will reportedly be an action romance. The actor only recently commenced filming for the same. Now , if reports are to be believed, the film is expanding its cast with two names joining the star cast - namely, Bobby Deol and Gautham Menon.

As per a Gulte report, Bobby Deol will be essaying the pivotal role of the antagonist in the film. Gautham Menon on the other hand will hold an impactful secondary role. Both actors appear to be playing to their strengths for NBK 109. Bobby Deol for instance, will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal in which the actor is essaying the antagonist. Gautham Menon too, recently appeared in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo in a supporting role.

Nandamuri Balakrishna has seen through the release of films Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari, the latter of which will also soon be making its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video, come November 24. Veera Simha Reddy, which also starred Shruti Haasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, minted worldwide collections of ₹115 crores with its January release.

This was followed by Bhagavanth Kesari, also starring Sreeleela, with its October release raked in ₹114.47 crores in worldwide collections. NBK 109 is eyeing a release next year.
