Poonam Kaur Demands 'Industry Leaders' To Question Director Trivikram Following Her Allegations

Several sexual harassment allegations have come out across all the film industries ever since the Hema Committee Report began investigations. In the latest development, popular actress Poonam Kaur has taken to her social media account to criticise filmmaker Trivikram, known for directing Mahesh Babu starter Guntur Kaaram. The actress has alleged that she had lodged a complaint against the director with Movie Artist Assosciation (MAA), who did not pay heed to her demands at the time.

Actress-Turned-Politician Poonam Kaur has accused Trivikram Srinivas and raised question about her being sideline in the Telugu film industry. The post comes after popular choreographer Jani Master was accused of sexual assault.

The caption read, “Had Hema association taken complaint on Trivikram Srinivas, I and many wouldn’t have had the political suffering, I was rather silently ignored, I had given a call and then complaint to the heads, I want industry big wigs to question Director Trivikram”.

Poonam Kaur’s public feud with Trivikram Srinivas is not new. She had previously alleged about the filmmaker harming other’s careers. Earlier Poonam Kaur Lal had taken a veiled dig at Pawan Kalyan by Trivikram Srinivas, however she did not mention their name, until now. In 2019, the actress had lodged complaint with the cyber crime wing of Hyderabad police against Guntur Kaaram fame Trivikram.

Reportedly, Trivikram Srinivas was asked to respond to Poonam Kaur’s allegations. The director said, “There is no truth in this and I don’t want to waste my precious time to respond on such type the gossips and rumours.“

Poonam Kaur is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films. She is also a politician, based in Telangana and a member of the Congress Party. She has worked in several films including Nathicharami, Sourvam, Neniirukkum, 6 Candles, Mayajalam and Payasam among others.
