Prithviraj Sukumaran has just seen through the release of one of the biggest films of his career, Salaar. Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire, hit theatres on December 22, commencing its theatrical run after multiple delays, particularly its initially scheduled release on September 28. Post the film's release, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays parallel lead in the Prabhas led film, was the subject of a heartfelt note penned by wife Supriya Menon Prithviraj.

Supriya Menon took to her Instagram handle, to share two behind the scenes photos with husband Prithviraj Sukumaran. Both photos show Sukumaran in the get up of Varada Raja Mannar, his role in the film. While Supriya can be seen posing with him in the first photo, the second features them seated on set, presumably between shots. Not only did Supriya's note applaud her husband's performance, but also carried words of appreciation for all key players in the making of Salaar, particularly Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel.


The caption read, "With my favourite Varada Raja Mannar! @therealprithvi What an absolute joy it was to watch Salaar! Stellar performances all around and amazing music, art direction and cinematography to boot! Take a bow Prashanth Neel Sir, it is your world and we are just living in it! Prithviraj Sukumaran shares his experience dubbing for Salaar


For the unversed, Salaar has been released across five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Post concluding dubbing for the film, Sukumaran shared a note on what a unique experience it was dubbing for the same character five times over, in five different languages.

His social media post on the same read, "Final dubbing corrections done. I have had the privilege of lending my own voice for all my characters across various languages I’ve worked in over the years. I have even dubbed for some of my characters in multiple languages. But to be dubbing for the same character, in the same film in 5 different languages is a first for me. Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and of course Malayalam. And what a film to do it for! Deva and Varadha will meet you in theatres across the world on the 22nd of December 2023! "
