Pushpa actor Jagadish P Bandari arrested for allegedly abetting suicide of woman junior artiste

Jagadish P Bandari, Pushpa fame actor, was arrested by the Panjagutta police on Wednesday, December 6, for allegedly abetting the suicide of a woman junior artiste, who died on November 29, as per news agency PTI. The 30-year-old actor was reportedly in a live-in relationship with the deceased woman.

The Pushpa actor was accused of threatening and blackmailing the 34-year-old woman after “taking her photo along with a man," they said. The woman died on November 29 and a suicide case was filed which prompted her father to lodge a complaint against Jagadeesh at Panjagutta police station. Her father alleged that the actor had been harassing his daughter, which made her take such a tragic step. Based on the findings during the investigation the police altered the section to abetment to suicide and arrested Bandari, police informed.
Police said that the investigation is on.
About Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari
The actor made his debut with the 2018 film Nirudyoga Natulu, followed by Raj Rachakonda's Mallesham (2019) and George Reddy (2019). He has also been part of the 2020 film Palasa 1978 but rose to fame after playing the role of Keshava in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa (2021). He was last seen in Mythri Movie Makers’ Satthi Gaani Rendu Yekaralu. His upcoming projects include Nithiin and Sreeleela starrer Extra Ordinary Man, Pushpa 2: The Rule, Chivaraku Migiledhi, Ambajipeta Marriage Band and Pickpocket 2: The Murder Plan.
