Salaar box office collection day 4: Film passes Monday test as business picks up for Hindi version
Telugu, US and North India have emerged as some of the biggest markets for Prabhas starrer Salaar and will be driving its business in the coming time as well.
Salaar has marked Prabhas' comeback at the box office after a string of flops - Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. The Prashanth Neel directorial has breached the ₹400 crore mark gross at the worldwide box office in its opening weekend. Telugu, US and North India have emerged as some of the biggest markets for the film and will be driving its business in the coming time as well.
Salaar does well in Hindi version despite a clash
Salaar released on the big screens on December 22. Despite its clash with Dunki, the Prabhas starrer has managed to hold its ground and is doing well in the northern markets. Earlier, the makers alleged that Salaar was not being given equal screen share and they had also withdrawn its release from a major multiplex chain. Despite the fight for screens, Salaar has managed to earn ₹67.7 crore in four days, accordig to Sacnilk. The day-wise earnings of the film in Hindi are as follows.
Day 1: ₹15.75 crore
Day 2: ₹16.35 crore
Day 3: ₹ 21.1 crore
Day 4: ₹ 14.5 crore
Since the drop in its collection on Monday is not huge, it seems like Salaar is headed for a good collection in the Hindi version and may gross ₹100 crore by the second weekend. Meanwhile, the film has minted ₹325 crore nett and counting worldwide in four days.
About Salaar movie
Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, the movie also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. It hit the screens on Friday in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Set in the fictional city of Khansaar, Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire revolves around two friends Deva (Prabhas) and Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran).
Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire also stars Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu and Sriya Reddy.
