Ever since Salaar hit the screens on December 22, the film has been making headlines for its amazing box office numbers. While a set of people are praising the film for its success, another set of people are accusing the makers of the film of faking box office numbers and claiming that the producers' numbers are always different or higher than the trade numbers. A few have also been claiming that after the box office controversy, the official page of Hombale Films, the banner behind the film, has deleted all box office related posts. But is that true?

Did Hombale films delete box office posts?

While netizens have been speculating that the makers of Salaar are faking their box office numbers to put down Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki at box office, the reality is Hombale Films has never posted anything related to the film's collection since its release day as the film has its own dedicated X account, which since the beginning shared all the updates related to the film. And the number updates shared by the official film handle always matched the numbers declared by trade analysts. This point was brought to light by Prabhas' fans through series of X posts.

What do we know about Salaar?

Salaar starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumara and  Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, is directed by filmmaker Prashanth Neel, who is famously known for his films KGF Chapter 1, KGF Chapter 2 and Ugramm.
