After her diagnosis with the auto-immune disease, the actress has been focusing on her health and taking up fewer projects. Recently, she was spotted at fashion event, looking ultra slim and almost unrecognisable to some.

Samantha’s latest look sparks concern among fans

Samantha Ruth Prabhu looked glamorous at the Anamika Khanna X H&M collection launch event in Mumbai. The whole look was appreciated, but some fans were worried about her appearance.

When Samantha said she would do fewer films

In an interview with Elle, the actress shared that she is proud of the women in the entertainment industry, who are claiming their space. She said she was glad to be part of this change and appreciated women asking for better roles and fully-fledged characters. Addressing why she was doing fewer movies, she said, "I’ve always felt that it is better to do fewer films with substance than a bunch without. I believe breaking stereotypes is very important, so I was particular about not doing the same thing; the audience would get bored."

The series also stars Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem and Emma Canning, in pivotal roles. The actress was last seen in the films Kushi, Yashoda, and Shakuntalam.
