Sobhita On Engagement With Naga Chaitanya: Did Not Go Into The Moment With A Lot Of Expectations

Sobhita Dhulipala-Naga Chaitanya: The couple exchanged rings in an intimate ceremony on August 8 at the actor's residence in Hyderabad. The event was kept hush-hush with only close friends and family in attendance. The photos from the celebration went viral on social media.

Sobhita Dhulipala breaks silence on engagement with Naga Chaitanya 

Sobhita, in a recent interview, opened up about her intimate engagement ceremony. While the bash was low-key, the Made In Heaven fame asserted it was ‘perfect’. She has also shared her thoughts on motherhood.

In a conversation with Galatta India, the actress shared, “I don’t think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams, planning…no. I think I was there. It was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate and warm. It was everything I thought it would be. When beautiful things happen, I don’t feel the need for embellishments. That moment itself fills me. So I didn’t feel like it was simple or it was not; it was what it was meant to be, and it was perfect.”

Sobhita Dhulipala opens up on her desire to embrace motherhood 

In the same conversation, Sobhita shared that she has always wanted to be a mother. She added that it is a big part of her traditions and she will stick to it. The actress said, "I did always think that I always wanted the whole motherhood experience. I was very clear about it, and getting married. I always saw myself in that setting. I always wanted Telugu-ness to be a part of moments like this. I am very attached to my roots, to tradition and to my parents. That's something I fantasised about.”
 

Sobhita spoke about her love for traditions. She shared how Telugu brides customarily wear a lagam silk saree and another one in white with a red border. Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, the two announced the separation in October 2021. They had issued statements on their respective social media accounts at the time.
