Anirudh Ravichander has made a name for himself in the Indian film industry. The music composer has given back-to-back chartbuster albums for movies like Jailer, Jawan, and most recently Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo. In a recent interview, Anirudh revealed that he got a special gift from the actor, back when their 2014 film, Kaththi became one of the biggest chartbusters in the Tamil film industry.

Vijay’s special gift for Anirudh Ravichander
In a conversation with Film Companion, Anirudh spoke candidly about one of the most meaningful presents he had ever received: a vintage black piano from Thalapathy Vijay. It's interesting to note that the young artist said Vijay surprised him with this gift after their 2014 film Kaththi's music became one of the biggest chartbusters in the Tamil cinema industry.

Anirudh added that he always makes sure to perform all of his brand-new songs on this piano first. The versions that Thalapathy Vijay's piano is used to record are the ones that go to his film directors first. If the director likes the song, he will later record it with additional singers and instruments.
What's next for Anirudh Ravichander?
After Leo, Anirudh will be working on Rajinikanth’s next tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. The currently untitled movie will be written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Additionally, he will work with Kamal Haasan once more on the eagerly anticipated Indian 2. The film is the follow-up to the 1996 hit Indian, in which Kamal played both the son. The latter was killed in the film's climax. The Shankar directorial is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s banner Red Giant Movies along with Lyca Productions. The artist will work with the experienced filmmaker for the first time on this project.
