Former first lady of US Hillary Clinton arrives at Antilla for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding celebrations

Former US first lady Hillary Clinton who came to India to attend the wedding celebrations was also spotted arriving at the Ambani residence in Mumbai.

The wedding festivities of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, son of Ajay and Swati Piramal have kick-started as the couple is all set to tie the knot on December 12. Guests have already started arriving at the Ambani residence in Mumbai where the couple is all set to tie the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

Former US first lady Hillary Clinton who came to India to attend the wedding celebrations was also spotted arriving at the event. She was seen dressed in gold for the evening.

Hillary Clinton who arrived in the country last Saturday attended the grand pre-wedding ceremony of the Ambanis and the Piramals at The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur over the weekend on December 8 and 9. Following the same, she was also seen enjoying a stroll through the Swadesh Bazaar along with bride-to-be Isha Ambani and her mother Nita Ambani ahead of the Sangeet celebrations. As the event also hosted several Bollywood celebrities, she posed with several Bollywood stars and in fact, also grooved to the Bollywood numbers at the Sangeet ceremony.

Following the pre-wedding celebrations, the former US first lady accompanied by designer Anita Dongre reportedly visited the Self Employed Women's Association, a trade union based out in Ahmadabad that promotes the rights of low-income, independently-employed female workers. The former US Secretary of State reportedly interacted with the women working at the trade union and inspire, motivate and praised them. 

The designer confirmed the same on a social media post where she shared pictures and videos from the meeting. In the post, Anita wrote, "It was a privilege for me to have been a part of such a special evening with the former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and the women members of SEWA. The women were filled with enthusiasm in having a global powerhouse and woman champion amidst them; who took the time to inspire, motivate and applaud them. She heard all the game-changing stories of these courageous women, it was heart-warming to see her relentless support and encouragement to help the women of SEWA achieve economic empowerment and independence"
