Days after stoking controversy by making anti-Sanatan remark, Tamil Nadu Minister Udhyanidhi Stalin on Wednesday, again reiterated that he will continue to raise voice against it. Speaking at an event in Madurai, Stalin referring to the BJP, said, "The new Parliament building was inaugurated. They got the Adheenams from Tamil Nadu for the inauguration, but the President of India was not invited because she is a widow and is from tribal community. Is this Sanatan Dharma? We will continue to raise our voice against it."

ED provisionally attaches assets worth Rs 26.43 cr in case of embezzlement of NHAI funds

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday provisionally attached assets worth Rs. 24.01 Crore belonging to Naresh Kumar Sheokand, erstwhile District Revenue Officer (DRO) of Panchkula, Haryana, and others under the provisions of PMLA, 2002. The action has been taken in the case of embezzlement of NHAI and HSIIDC funds. As per the ED, the total attachment in this case stands at Rs. 26.43 Crore till date.

NIA announces cash reward for information leading to listed terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of ‘listed terrorist’ Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda, and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa, for promoting the terror activities of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) in India. 

A cash reward of Rs 5 lakh each has also been declared by the NIA for information on three associates of these terrorists, namely Parminder Singh Kaira alias Pattu, Satnam Singh alias Satbir Singh alias Satta and Yadvinder Singh alias Yadda.

An IAF official stated that India's first C295 transport aircraft would be formally inducted into the Indian Air Force by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at a ceremony scheduled on September 25th at the Hindan airbase near Delhi. The problem is not releasing the water as per the Supreme Court order. We have been requesting the Supreme Court and the government to implement. If there is enough water, there is no problem. Congress' big allegation on Centre, says 'Socialist secular words omitted in new Constitution copies'

"The new copies of the Constitution that were given to us today (19th September), the one we held in our hands and entered (the new Parliament building), its Preamble doesn't have the words 'socialist secular'," said Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. 

"We know that the words were added after an amendment in 1976 but if someone gives us the Constitution today and it doesn't have those words, it is a matter of concern. Their intention is suspicious. It has been done cleverly. It is a matter of concern for me. I tried to raise this issue but I did not get an opportunity to raise this issue," he added.
